Madrid 2027: We’re on the road, come along!
With our Annual Conference in Bucharest in April and the ENPA Meeting in Ghent in September, we celebrated important milestones on ENPA’s journey this year.
In Ghent, from 14 to 16 September, we came together for three days of panels, workshops and lively exchange, alongside our Doctoral School and the General Assembly. Our warm thanks go to our hosts at Ghent University and to everyone who joined us for making it such a rewarding experience.
But far from feeling road-weary, we find our wanderlust has only grown, and we’re already busy planning our next adventure. The roadmap is set and the directions are clear: pack your best ideas, get ready and join us on the 🛣️ ROAD TO MADRID!
Final destination: Madrid, 31 August – 3 September 2027
The ENPA Conference 2027 will be hosted by the Facultad de Ciencias Políticas y Sociología of the Complutense University of Madrid at its Somosaguas Campus, in collaboration with the Instituto Complutense de Ciencia de la Administración (ICCA). The ENPA Doctoral Seminar opens on 31 August, followed by the main conference from 1 to 3 September. Mark your calendars!
Who and what awaits you
We are grateful for the strong crew we have on board and the many new companions who are joining us along the way:
Our established Research Groups are coming along for the ride. Find an overview on our website.
Several additional Research Groups are setting off for Madrid, opening up new themes and perspectives.
Thematic panels and affiliated group panels will complement the programme, with our partners including UKAPA, ASPA, NISPAcee and others.
A new edition of our successful ENPA Doctoral Seminar will bring doctoral researchers together with experienced scholars ahead of the main conference.
Stay on track
On the way to the call for papers, we’ll keep you posted on who and what awaits in Madrid. In our upcoming newsletters, we’ll introduce the new Research Groups joining us on the road.
